Food at Sanrio Puroland !

Hi, everyone ! Now, I'm very nervous because tomorrow is my presentation day x(
So I will update my blog as a rest.

Last Friday, I went to Sanrio Puroland with my high school friends ♥
It is located to Tama in Tokyo.
It takes about 2 hour from Tsudanuma, but I really enjoyed !!

It was my first time.
Today I will show you 2 foods in Sanrio Puroland.

First one is lunch box !

I think most of foods in these lunch box are frozen food. haha
You can buy it ￥1,000~1,100.
The good point is we can bring luchbox at home after eating.
I saw many children chose lunchbox and they smiling happily.

Next is sweets!

Actually I only eat doughnuts.
You can select flavor like chocolate, strawberry, walnuts&maple syrop, Apple & cinnamon.
These sweets are very popular and the shop closed earlier than other restaurant, so I reccomend go earlier time.

Souvenir is also unique and very cute.
If you have a interest, puroland is good to spend time because all of facilities are indoor.

☆Shaved Ice

Today is sooo hot ! and I have to do many assignments...I can't wait summer holiday!
By the way, I posted ice cream blog 2 weeks ago.
This time I will introduce the history of shaved ice.

Shaved ice is famous as summer sweets in Japan.
In the world, it is also called "snow cone".

 When it is started??
 The answer is... Heian Period!
Sei shonagon describes how they eat it in her book "The Pillow Book".

She eat shaved ice with "Amazura" (sweetening made with Kudzu sause ) or suger and honey.
At that time, ice is very expensive and import from overseas.


In 1869, businessman produced natural ice in Japan and opened his    shop. Shaved ice is known to people since them.

Ice shaving machine is developed in 1887 by ice trader.

The price of shaved ice is about 80 yen per one cup. Cheap!! (^^)
According to the website of HAJIMETE History, it is very popular and people wait two hours!

♪The useful tool of lunchbox

Good afternoon, everyone ;)☆
As you know... today is the day of Star festival !

We have no certain eating habits related to this event, but there are a lot of menus to celebrate the festival.

For example, put sliced carrots or baked eggs which is hollowed star shape on thin wheat noodles (somen).

By the way, today's topic is "The useful tool of lunchbox" !

Have you ever cooked character lunch box??

I really interested to cooking it and I want to make for my child someday♪

Now I will introduce some tools!

First one is laver cutter. ￥1,480~ ( but you will find them at 100 yen shop too.)

If you want to make faces with laver, cutting takes time and it is bother.

But this cutter is very simple and just push the botton.

Of course, arrange is free and various.

Star, heart, and music note type is also on a sale.

Next is "doubutsu-makimaki" ￥980

This goods is soooo cute, isn't it?

Straw bag shaped rice ball is slender than usual one and easy to stuff the rest of lunch box.

And how to use the tools?

1) put in rices with pink spoon.

2)roll the lavers on the rice balls.

3) hollow ham, cheese, and any foods using the plate.

4) roll the rice ball again from upside.

Decorating ketchup as a cheek is also cute!

Last one is sausage cutter. ￥283~

You can arrange sausages for octopus, crabs, dandelions, and sunflowers.

Kitchen knifle is needless if you use this tool.









All 3 tools I introduced is safe even children use it.
Cooking together is become good experience for them and perhaps it is the prompt to stop unbalanced diet.
Like this, the goods of lunch box is improved and change more convenient.

Almond Jelly Icecream

Hello :) !
Today I will introduce 2 ice cream which is flavored almond jelly.
Almond Jelly is known as annnindofu in Japan.
"Annin" means the inside of apricot seed.
The color of this part is white, so it is used for making almond jelly.
By the way, have you tried this famous dessert as a flavor of ice cream?

First is haagen-dazs !

It is include the liquer(a sweet liquid to make alcohol drink) of apricot seed.
I think alcohol taste is not so strong, and creamy^^

The calories is about 300, haagen-dazs is little expensive for us, but please try it ♥

Next is 31 ice cream !!!

The taste is very flesh and yummy ;)

Can you see the orange color part?

It is pinapple pulp and mango sause.

Calory is depend on the size, for example, regular size is about 200 calories.

I think these ice cream suit for summer !

Hello, everyone !
It's hot today, so I want to eat shaved ice~~~~ (;_;)
Have you tried the shaved ice in building 7?
Put caramel ice cream on shaved ice(+￥100) is delicous♥

By the way, I will introduce my favorite recipe book.

The title is "the textbook for cook your own meal".

This book is written for people who live in themselves.

So ingredients and quantity is indicated for them.

When I moved from my hometown, I have no experience to cook meals.

The book cover is not cute and simple, but it teach me a lot of important information!

For example,

Part 1: basic tool for cooking

     ・convenient goods

     ・seasonings

Part 2:basic materials

    ・the important point to shopping

    ・how to choose meat, vegetables, fish and shellfish.

Part 3:The basic of cooking

   ・how to cut ingredients

   ・useful way of microwave

Part 4: Recipes

I surprised that there are so many recipes in this book!

Because the size of book is not so big.
They introduce popular home cooking like nikujaga, hambarg, and so on.
In addition, the healthy dish helps me when I catch a cold.
The other recipes are how to make sauses which can preserve and arrange.

If you have a confidence to cooking, this book is needless for you.
But for beginner, I reccommend!

Restraurant Review♫Silvanian Families restaurant

Good evening ! ；）
This time I will introduce very cute restaurant♥
Have you played with the animal dolls Silvanian Families ?
When I was a child, I had many dolls and goods like Red roof house.

In Japan, there are 3 Silvanian Families restaurants. (Saitama Lake Town, Nagareyama, and TOKYO-BAY lalaport) I went to this restaurant in lala-port many times.     

The picture is entrance of the restaurant.
Last september, I went there with my club friends to celebrate member's birthday!
display is decorated for halloween and anytime you can also see other toys and dolls in the shop beside the restaurant.

Basicly, the eating style is buffet. hamburg, gratin, and so on.
I recommend you to go to weekday dinner time.
Because you can enjoy main dish and salad, soup, drink, and dessert buffet!
The time is 2 hours, and price are depend on main dish. (￥1,780~2,180)

Of couse these cute pancake and ice cream are free to take!

We also enjoyed making cotton candy :)

And...greeting with Silvanian Families is main event of this restaurant.

Stuffed costume character will come to each table and dance and sing together!

They are very cute and makes me happy(^^)♫

←Her name is "chocolat rabiit".

Other characters are ... "Silk cat","cotton rabbit", and so on.

I think maybe this restaurant is for chidren and family.

But adults, especially women can enjoy eating there！

NEW PRODUCTS ♫ Mister Donut

Hi (^^) !  The rainy season is started, maybe it makes me sleepy...

But playing sports and eat delicious sweets is very fun :)

Last week, I went to "Round 1" in Saitama with sophomore class members.

We enjoyed tennis, basketball, and some sports and games.

Ok, let's move on main topic !

Today I will introduce new products of Mister Donut.

The name is "yaki-do". It means  baked daughnuts.

When we make daughnuts, deep-fried is usual way.

This picture is all line-up of "yaki-do".

 Flavors are...

1 Apple and caramel sause

2 Milk raised

3 Sweet potato and Spinach

4 Pumpkin

5 Chocolate chip and Burdock

6 Strawberry and Crunberry

7 Orange peel

8 Cinnamon and Chocolate

I suprised because there are vegetable flavors!

They used vegetable powder and colored daughnuts.

I tried 1&4, it was very soft and sweet ♪

Taste is similar to cake or madeleine/financier.

Fruits flavor is more sweeter than other daughnuts.

Price:￥147~157

In addition, Mister donut sells "cool-yakido" at only 20 shops in Japan.

 

It uses bean paste include vegetables.

For example, tomato, carrot, and so on.

You can get these daughnuts at Shin-Urayasu shop.

I think "yaki-do" will become popular!

Because it is unusual but tasty sweetes ;)
